Thank you for a year of success -

First off, we want to thank you for being so supportive and having us be part of your life. It has meant the world to us. The last year has been filled with so much struggle and uncertainty. From the pain of losing loved ones to tough decisions like closing businesses, it has been a difficult road for so many to say the least. That is why we are so thankful for every order we have shipped, every customer we have served, and every cup of coffee we have brewed.

Resilience

If there is one thing we have learned in the last year, it is resilience. As a team, we agreed that to keep Queen City going, we needed to stay positive, committed, and to continue pushing through the tough times. Early on, we focused on what we could expand on. So many coffee drinkers switched to brewing at home - which meant our e-commerce side of the business would be our best bet. Our beans were so well received that many of you signed up for our subscriptions and continue to get them to this day. For that, we are truly grateful.

Focus

Week to week, we set goals for ourselves. We wanted to continue to grow and provide a quality product to our customers. We built local marketing strategies to reach more coffee lovers in our area. A great tool for us has been local farmers markets. It has become a way to share our coffee, expand our reach, and create amazing friendships along the way. We are now regulars at the Duke Farms Farmers’ Market in Hillsborough every Sunday. We are so grateful for opportunities like that and hope to keep expanding to more markets.

Community

 A year later, things are finally heading in the right direction. So many of our customers are thankful that we were able to keep our doors open – allowing an escape from the stresses of the year. We became an outlet for those seeking a bit of comfort from all the chaos going on. We are happy to know that we matter so much to so many of you.

The Future

The future will always be bright. We have built a team that is committed to you because without you, there is no Queen City. Our commitment to brew great coffee, our passion for building relationships, and a vision for what the future holds, is a simple formula that drives us forward. What better way to fuel the effort to build the future than with the world’s best coffee?
